1. Honey and Lemon Juice
This is one of the oldest and most tried home remedies. And it has rarely disappointed anyone.
Take 2-3 teaspoon of warm water in a cup, add half a lemon and 2 teaspoons of honey to relieve the throat pain. Honey will provide a soothing coating and lemon will help with chest congestion.
Beware of the hatred expression that you will get from your kid!

2. Chamomile tea
The naturally soothing Chamomile-tea has been-used for quite a long time for a sore throat. It is famously used for its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and astringent properties.
If tea is an issue then you can also let your child inhale Chamomile steam to get rid of its cold and sore throat. Moreover, it also helps in building immune system strong, and help your body fight all those bacteria’s which caused a sore throat in the first place.
3. Gargle with baking soda
We all know gargle is the first thing that any doctor will suggest if you have cough or cold throat irrespective of the fact medicines are given or not.

4. Apple cider vinegar

Pour 1 to 2 tbsp of ACV in a cup of warm water and gargle with it followed by a small sip of a mixture. Repeat the process once or twice in an hour or so.

- Don’t give honey to children under the age of 1 year.
A sore throat in children is neither fun nor the case is as serious as in adults. And it cannot be avoided in any case.
